All India Congress Committee

Sirsa: All India Congress Committee General Secretary, former Union Minister, former Haryana Congress State President and Uttarakhand in-charge and Congress (India Alliance) candidate from Sirsa Lok Sabha seat, Kumari Selja said that our biggest concern is the current environment of fear, threat and hatred.

For the last ten years, people of every class are living in fear. Laws and investigation agencies are being used as weapons to intimidate people. Hatred has been spread among people of different religious, language and caste groups. Democracy in India is becoming hollow. The country’s food provider is becoming weak, the government is ignoring it, it seems that the government wants to destroy the farmers.

She said that Congress has announced 05 such guarantees for farmers and these will be implemented first as soon as the government is formed. In villages Bajekan and Phulakan, she said that whatever local issues of the area are there, they will be resolved after mutual discussion after the formation of Congress government.

Kumari Selja visited various villages of Sirsa assembly constituency on Friday and appealed to the people to vote in favor of Congress. He first reached Bhagwan Parshuram Chowk and garlanded the statue of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram and bowed his head.

While addressing the gathering in village Bajekan, she said that she has an old relation with this village, when she contested the by-election in 1988 after the death of her father, the then Congress District President Thakur Bahadur Singh, senior leader, minister Choudhary Jagdish Nehra, minister Laxman Das Arora went to villages and introduced her to the people, since then she has a relation with the people here. She said that today is a battle of ideology, BJP is creating a rift among people by doing politics in the name of religion and caste,

BJP has nothing to do with development, it only raises slogans of development, Congress is fighting to save democracy, to save the poor, farmers, laborers, businessmen. She said that the unemployed youth are wandering, there is no one to listen to her, whoever has rejected the youth power, this country could never progress. The youth has become a victim of drug addiction, drug addiction is at its peak in Sirsa, the government and administration are not taking any effective steps to curb drug addiction, although Dabwali has been made the police headquarters to stop drug addiction, but has drug addiction stopped?

It is still continuing, till the time the people who give protection to drug smugglers are not tightened, drug addiction will not stop, for this a leader, intention and policy are needed, the state will be made drug-free when the Congress government comes.

Half of the 50 percent jobs of the central government will be reserved for women

She said that Congress has promised to make women socially, economically and politically strong, Congress also fulfills what it says, Congress’s promises and announcements are not slogans, today BJP is a sloganeering party. She said that a resolution has been taken to start the Mahalakshmi Yojana to provide one lakh rupees per year to a woman from a poor family without any condition. This amount will be sent to the bank account of an elderly woman in the family, if there is no elderly woman in the family, the amount will be sent to the account of the oldest member of the family.

Half of the 50 percent jobs in the Central Government will be reserved for women. The principle of equal pay for equal work will be implemented to prevent discrimination in pay for women. The amount of institutional loan given to women will also be increased.
